Christmas in July with Storkie.com

Summer is in full swing and most people would agree that there is something about the warm weather that makes Christmas in July seem warm and welcoming - could it be all the fabulous deals? Maybe - but it could also be a perfect time for families to come together and come up with some lovely decorating ideas. For instance, you can take all the stylish Christmas cards from previous years and make a family quilt. Why? Because a quilt provides warmth and it can also hold all of those precious memories that your family can cherish for years to come. This will require a little bit of sewing and patience but it can be fun for the whole family to do.

Do you have tons of old photo's just collecting dust in old shoe boxes.  Did you know that you can put those to use by creating some fabulous photo Christmas cards.  For example - if you have a child you can gather all of their photo's from birth to now and create a collage of how they have grown over the years. This would make a wonderful gift for grandparents to see how their grandchild has grown over the years.

Streamer, Streamer, Streamer oh what to do with it.  The good thing about streamer is that it can be molded into any shape, folded and wrapped to your likings. You can take those old and new Christmas cards and create bows, Christmas trees, stars etc and attached them to your card and a piece of thread. You can then use these new creations to decorate your tree or simply hang them around your fireplace. This may take some time to master but it can be lots of fun for the kiddos especially during summer break.

Also, if you are trying to get a head start on finding some super cute Christmas and Holiday Cards then I highly recommend checking out Storkie Express.

Enjoy!!
