I've only seen it twice in my whole life today and once when I was a little girl. I just don't like the way it sounds when it hits the window - scary stuff. But, I do think it's very beautiful though. Enjoy the rest of your day Zippy!
I know right! The weather has been pretty good up until a week or so ago which is crazy. Everything is unpredictable nowadays, never know what's going to happen or when.
This type of odd weather is very rare here in Sacramento. We get the occasional rain and maybe some high winds but that's about it. Hail here is very uncommon and I've never seen so much of nor heard it last for so long. SCARY!
Like they say everything is BIG in Texas J/K. But I would totally freak out if I seen hail that size. That sounds like it can cause some severe damage.
I guess everyone is getting hit or warned with something today. I'm glad everything okay with you and I truly do hope that the Tornado warning passes. Stay safe!
We've been having crazy weather here, too. Lot's of severe storms and hail, too. The last 2 weeks it's been like summer here, with upper 70s and low 80s.
Hail always scares me. Especially when I'm in the car. I think I've seen it happen less than a half dozen times in my whole life.
