Having car trouble on the road is NEVER an enjoyable experience. A faulty alternator or busted coolant hose could leave a driver stranded for hours at a time. Luckily, the stress of having an on-road car problem can be significantly lessened by signing up for a roadside assistance program. Here are some of the benefits that are offered by a quality roadside assistance service.

A flat tire is one of the MOST common occurrences on the road. In some instances, the motorist may be unable to change the tire on their own. When called upon, the roadside assistance service will send a service person out to install the spare tire. If no spare tire is available, a tow truck will haul the vehicle to the nearest auto repair station or to the home of the car owner.
Battery boost
A dead car battery CAUSES instant frustration for the driver. A roadside assistance service will help to get the motorist BACK on the road as soon as possible. If the battery is too weak to jumpstart the vehicle, a new car battery will be offered to the stranded car owner. A tow will be recommended if the battery is deemed to not be the problem.
Lockout service
Within a split-second, a driver can accidentally lock their keys inside of the car. This creates a very compromising situation to say the LEAST. A roadside assistance program is able to send out a locksmith to gain entry to the vehicle. If the key has been damaged, the locksmith may be able to provide a duplicate copy of the key.
Delivery of fuel
Each day, thousands of motorists drive their vehicle until the gas tank is completely empty. In some situations, the driver may be several miles from the nearest gas station. A roadside assistance service is able to provide enough fuel to make it to the next available gas station. This definitely comes in handy when traveling on a long road trip.
Peace of mind
A roadside assistance service gives the car owner an EXTRA peace of mind when traveling from place to place. Whether they are stuck in the snow or experiencing an overheated engine, the driver can feel confident in knowing that assistance is just a phone call away.

Hmmm .... maybe I should get this , i'm always terrified of breaking down and being stranded somewhere (which is why I keep blankets and other necessities in my van at all times).
ReplyDeleteI've had AAA roadside since college! I wouldn't be without it. There can be periods of time where it's not used, but inevitably it saves my life at least once or twice a year.
