Being a mom I want to know where my children are at all times as their safety is very important to me. A few years ago my family went to the Zoo and it was one of those everybody get in free events, so as you can imagine it was very crowded. My son which was 5 at the time wandered off, and I can tell you it was one of the worst feelings I have ever experienced in my entire life. Luckily he didn't go too far as he was only a few feet away thank goodness. But after that one experience I can tell you I would never ever want to have that feeling again. And the sad part is this could happen to anyone no matter how careful you are at watching your kids.
