CBS 2009 Fall Preview: Accidentally On Purpose, Medium & The Good Wife

Thanks to the wonderful people over at Role Mommy I was able to get advance copies of three wonderful shows premiering this fall on CBS. I really enjoyed watching each show but my favorite so far is The Good Wife. Coming in second is Medium as I have been watching it for sometime now and have grew to love it. Can't wait.....


Medium - Premiers September 27

A drama inspired by the real-life story of research medium Allison DuBois, an extraordinary young wife and mother who, since childhood, has struggled to make sense of her dreams and visions of dead people.

Emmy Award winner Patricia Arquette stars as DuBois, a strong-willed, devoted young wife and mother of three girls who has gradually come to grips with her extraordinary ability to talk to dead people, see current events and the future through her dreams and read people's thoughts.




I really enjoy watching this show as I never know what to expect from her dreams. Every time I watch the Medium I always get pulled into the show wanting to know whats going to happen or if it really will happen. I will be glued to my TV this fall as I can tell this will be worth watching.

The Good Wife - Premiers September 27

A drama starring Emmy Award winner Julianna Margulies as a wife and mother who boldly assumes full responsibility for her family and re-enters the workforce after her husband's very public sex and political corruption scandal lands him in jail.

Pushing aside the betrayal and crushing public humiliation caused by her husband Peter (Chris Noth), Alicia Florrick (Margulies) starts over by pursuing her original career as a defense attorney.



The Good Wife is really good and I can tell it will only get better with time. I was hooked from the very beginning and that rarely happens. I was so impressed with all the characters all I have to say is CBS has really impressed me with The Good Wife. I don't have a Tivo but I will definitely make sure I watch this every chance I get.

Accidentally On Purpose - Premiers September 21

A comedy starring Golden Globe Award winner Jenna Elfman as Billie, a single woman who finds herself "accidentally" pregnant after a one-night stand with a much younger guy, and decides to keep the baby… and the guy.

A newspaper film critic, Billie is barely surviving a humiliating breakup with her charming boss, James (Grant Show), who's still trying to resume their relationship. Suddenly expecting a child with her "boy toy," Zack (Jon Foster), Billie and Zack make an arrangement: to live together platonically.



Well, I'm not really sure on what my takes is on this show as of yet as I really could not get into it as I would have liked. However I will make some attempts to watch it when it airs as something may happen that captures my attention. The show is not bad at all it's just something that I would not normally watch-but that can change with time.
