For three seasons, Gossip Girl’s revealing text messages have shaken up the lives of Manhattan’s elite, but he/she still hasn’t revealed his/her identity. The question still remains - Who is Gossip girl and how does he/she knows all of the deepest and darkest secrets of the Manhattan elite?
I have asked myself over and over again who has the most to gain by ruining the lives of others for their own personal gain. Would this unknown person also hurt themselves in the process to take the suspicion away from them? This definitely could be the case; Thinking back I remember the drama unfolded when Serena first came back from boarding school. Seems that every girl feared her as she attracted almost every boy in school, even the teachers. So obviously this person was not wanting her to be the center of attention, so they wanted to basically ruin her life as well as those who are closest to her.
But given that everyone receives a text message as soon as something juicy has surfaced, this means it has to be someone who has access to all of the numbers right? At first my initial thought was Gossip Girl was Blair as she was the Queen Bee and it looked as though she would stop at nothing to retain her title. Plus, the girls around her feared her and would do whatever she would ask of them. But after awhile, I don't think she would hurt herself in the process as she always have to be perfect. But, I will not go in to any other detail as I just want to take a guess. So my guess on who Gossip Girl is...... Vanessa. If it's not her, I believe it will be someone who will maybe come towards the end. We shall see!
