We were meant to be....

My husband and I first met when we were both somewhat fresh out of high school. At that time we didn't have a whole lot but to us our love meant everything to us. We decided to move in together after he proposed to me as we needed a little assurance that we would not get on each others nerves before tying the knot. Considering everything seemed fine we started planning our wedding maybe about a year later. Even though this was to be a joyous time in my life I was saddened that my father had just passed away and would not be able to give me away at our wedding. But I knew deep in my heart he was with me and with that I was able to move forward.

Considering we were young we did not have a tremendous amount of money so my husband's mom payed for everything out of her own pockets. But my husband insisted that he would be the one to purchase our rings. Sadly my husband had a little spot on top of our floor lamps that he loved hiding things on. So he hid the money that we were to use for our rings on top of it (BIG MISTAKE). As you may have already guessed my husband turned on the floor lamp and sadly our money trickled down in small pieces of ash. Sadly we were not able to salvage any of it as it burned so quickly.

I thought at first this was a sign for us to wait but my husband worked so hard over the next two months to make it up to me. Although I did not get the ring of my choice he was able to purchase one for $50 the was on sale at Zales. Til this day I have not nagged him (well just a little bit) about getting me a another one. Don't get me wrong as I do adore the ring he gave to me as it symbolizes our love. But he insist on wanting to get me a more expensive one as he knew the one I have now was only temporary. So who am I to argue over not getting a ring with a few Carats (giggles softly); So after many years of searching for something within our price range I found a ring I would love to have pictured below.

This Stunning 3/4 Carat Diamond Wedding Set is from Kranich’s Jewelers and I definitely have my sights set on this little beauty. I would so love to wrap my darling little finger into this ring as it is absolutely breathtaking along with one of theses super cute adorable Initial necklaces. But even if we get one or not my love for my husband is all I need as he is my first love and I love with or without an expensive ring.

As we were meant to be....
