"The Whole Truth" on ABC Wednesdays at 10/9 C. - Make sure to check it out!

Kathryn Peale, the product of a New England background and a sheriff father, is the Deputy Bureau Chief in the New York State District Attorney's office. Jimmy Brogan, born and raised in Hell's Kitchen and a friend of Kathryn's since their days at Yale Law School, is one of New York's rising criminal attorney stars. Buoyed by their respective teams, these evenly matched lawyers -- each with a strong streak of competitiveness, a fervent belief in their clients and an equally intense passion for the law -- go about creating two different stories from the same set of facts. As this up-close, behind-the-scenes look at the legal process mirrors the excitement of a great championship match, it becomes evident that truth has nothing to do with innocence or guilt -- at the end of every trial, the only thing that matters is what the jury believes.

Speaking of being fierce rivals, this show reminds me  a lot of me an my darling half sister. She is much older than I, but when it comes to doing something publicly she always tries to outshine me at all cost. For instance, I remember when I was around 16 we both volunteered to do a food drive in which we were to hand out non-perishable foods to families in need. Although this was for a great cause she insisted that she was doing more work and I was slow in putting the foods in the boxes. So she tried to look like wonder woman and boxed all the food as fast as she could.

Sadly she pointed out to everyone that I wasn't pulling my weight, so I tried to the best of my ability to move a bit more faster. But this alone did nothing as she just started nitpicking throughout the entire day. I was just hoping that she realized that the drive wasn't about us, it was about helping people. But, I guess she just didn't see it that way. So sad! But even after this incident I still love her to pieces but her competitiveness is so annoying.

Maybe one day we will finally be able to do some work together and not be at each others throats,  but sadly I think this will likely never happen.
