The Seagate GoFlex TV HD Media Player makes it extremely easy to access, view and play your digital media files on your home entertainment system. The GoFlex will provide you with a universe of entertainment that the whole family can enjoy. This lightweight media player provides you with multimedia fun in which you can watch high quality video's, view your favorite photo's and listen to your favorite songs by plugging the unit directly into your television or Home Entertainment Systems.
Once your connected you can easily use the menu to access your files to find your favorites, once you have found what are wanting to watch or view just press play and you are all set.
The GoFlex TV HD media player works with almost all formats, but I would like to point out that it didn't work with video's from my iTunes library, but other than that all the other formats worked perfectly. The resolution was extremely better than what I expected considering that I have an older model HDTV. What I like most is the fact that I can take it wherever I go as it's simple and extremely easy to use.
I would also like to mention that I did not try this with Netflix as I don't have an account, so I'm not for certain on the connectivity and video quality of using that service. However, I did watch shows that were already on my PC and as I stated earlier the video quality was pretty good considering I have an older TV and most of the videos were taken off my old PC. Overall, I think it's a pretty cool device and it really comes in handy when you want something simple to watch movies, listen to music and view photo's anywhere other than on your PC.
