Often times trying something new can be a fun yet exciting experience as it allows you to open yourself up to newer and better experiences. I use to be very hesitant when it came to trying something new as I never wanted to go outside of my regular routine. Yeah, I was one of those simple type of girls who was always afraid to step outside of my comfort zone. I rarely ever ate anything different nor tried anything new because I set myself up to think it was bad even though it may have been the best thing I have ever tried. But after awhile I realized that by not trying new things, I was only depriving myself as hey we only live once.. right?
As most of you probably know being a mom can be extremely stressful as we barely get any "Mommytime Out." Yes, mom's do need a time out from time to time as we deserve it because we work extremely hard and unfortunately there are no days off. I use to be afraid to take Mommytime Outs as I thought by doing so I was a bad mother... boy was I wrong. I learned that my kids needed a mother who was capable of giving them what they needed and I couldn't do that if I was stressed out all the time. So, I wanted to try something that I could do at home that wouldn't take to much time away from my family.
For "Mommytime Out." I wanted to try something that was good for my body, mind and soul. I found my new love and let me tell you my life has changed for the better and it's something that most of you are very familiar with. I know you are curious as to what made me go outside of my regular routine... are you ready? The thing that has changed my life and relieves almost all of my stress is Yoga. Not only is Yoga relaxing but it can be done as part of your "Mommytime Out" especially on those long stressful days. With just a mat, some soft music and a bit of free time Yoga has been the best stress reliever this mom could ever ask for. Not only do I feel great but my body is starting to look good as well. So if you are like me and need a Mommytime Out try doing Yoga, I guarantee that your body will thank you for it.
