2012 Kia Optima Hybrid Review

School is officially back in session and we're super excited to get back into our everyday routine. A typical day for us usually consist of getting the kiddos dressed and ready for school, tidying up around the house, laundering dirty school clothes, assisting the munchkins with their homework assignments, preparing healthful meals, running a few small errands, responding to mounds of emails, washing the dishes, and of course blogging. As you can imagine, we're pretty busy from breakfast to dinnertime around here. Whew!

Do we need a new CAR?

Um, heck yeah! It's not easy being a one car family, especially if you're juggling two jobs, raising three kids, and trying to keep the house in working order. Thanks to the wonderful folks over at Kia Motors, we were able to test-drive the 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid. And, we fell in LOVE almost instantly.

The 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid

If you're looking for the perfect family vehicle, the 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid provides coextensive space and contentedness for all passengers. Those looking for commodious tonnage space for weekend escapes or trips to the grocery store will not be disappointed with the 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid, it's really impressive!

In addition to offering coextensive space, the 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid comes with keyless entry and power door locks for added serviceability. Additional features include push-button start with Smart Key, an eight-way power adjustable driver's seat, a black leather-wrapped steering wheel, rear reading lamps, electric dual zone automatic temperature control with rear vents, supervision meter cluster with unique LCD display for hybrid information, one-touch automatic up/down on front windows, glove box illumination, chrome interior door handles , and fixed rear seats with ski pass-through. Now that's a "Vehicle" I'd like to own, how about you?

If you're like me -- you're probably very frustrated with the high cost of gasoline, who isn't right? And, if you drive an SUV (like me) you're probably trying to avoid driving it everyday because it cost too much, right? The 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid delivers 35 miles per gallon when driving in the city, and up to a class-leading 40 miles per gallon on the highway, which makes it the perfect family vehicle.

And...

What I like most about the Kia Optima Hybrid is when you're running low on fuel, the engine will shut off to completely eliminate idle fuel consumption and emissions, this will usually occur after the car has come to a complete stop. How cool is that?

The 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid is stylishly appointed with its beige and black leather interior, and 17-inch alloy wheels. All eyes will be immediately on you, and everyone will take notice when you drive this snazzy little car down the street.

The 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid can comfortably fit up to five passengers, and its just the right size for families of teens and tweens. The Kia Optima offers everyone in the family a capacious, yet comfortable riding experience, and you'll literally forget it's a compact sized vehicle.

The 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid offers today's tech-savvy consumers with attractive upgradeable options that'll impress even the pickiest car buyer. The Optima's sophisticated and sleek look makes it stand out from other cars. If you want something sporty with a touch of class, the 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid is definitely the way to go.

See y'all later!

  22. Sounds like a great car with great features but one part that kinds baffled me was "the car comes to a complete stop the engine shuts off"? REALLY? I'm not sure I'd like that. having to start the car up again. Doesn't that use more gas then just sitting idle?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Okay, when the car comes to a complete stop and you're low on fuel, the car will instead run off electric instead of the fuel. When the vehicle turns off you won't be able to tell at all, and no you will not have to turn the car back on. Hope that made sense, as this was my first time ever driving a Hybrid vehicle lol.

  23. Sounds like a great car. I am set on getting a Ford flex, we need an SUV type car for our family LOL

    1. I haven't seen the Ford Flex yet, but we've owned a Ford in the past and it was decent. We already own an SUV, but it takes way too much gas so we're thinking of getting something smaller and preferably an Hybrid!
