These tools are very useful, and I use them almost every time I vacuum.

Also, there are five height settings available for various floor surfaces. To change the settings simply turn the dial on the foot of the cleaner to reach your desired setting, which range from bare floor to high pile to shag. However, I always use the lowest setting when vacuuming, but that's just me. You can however keep changing the setting until the vacuum runs smoothly as you'll want to make sure that it's picking up the most amount of dirt.

I didn't realize how filthy my carpets were until I cleaned them with the BISSELL CleanView Vacuum. I can't believe my other vacuum (which is a more expensive vacuum) missed ALL this dirt. That's very disappointing!
