It's extremely hard to believe that summer is almost here and we only have a few shorts months of school left! Time sure does fly by quickly, huh? We've had a busy few weeks here at Mama of 3 Munchkins (AND I do mean busy!). Now that we're all rested up and refreshed, we're back with another fantabulous Kia review! A few weeks ago, we test drove the NEW 2013 Kia Sportage SX Turbo and it's AMAZING! We're totally in LOVE!! So, if you're looking for some new wheels, the Kia Sportage SX Turbo is definitely worth checking out. The Kia Sportage SX Turbo is extremely fun to drive, and it's the perfect for family road trips. Disneyland, anyone?
The Rear Parking Assist System
Rear parking assistance where have you been all my life? You've made backing out of my small driveway a cinch! Backing out of the driveway couldn't be more easy or more convenient. When backing out of the driveway, the rear parking assist system detects any object that's in close proximity to the vehicle. When the object is detectable by the back sensors, the car will begin to make a chiming sound. How cool, huh? This feature is perfect, especially when there are small children present or playing near the vehicle.Don't forget to put on your seat-belt!
Have you ever forgotten to put on your seat belt? Um, who hasn't right? The Kia Sportage SX Turbo has a wondrous little feature that every driver needs. What's this wondrous feature, you ask? It comes with a seat belt warning system for the driver (and passenger) seats. Sounds pretty awesome, right? Basically, if the driver's seat belt is not properly fastened when the ignition is turned on, the seat belt warning light and the seat belt warning chime will both automatically come on for your convenience (and safety). Also, if your passenger forgets to fasten his or her seat belt, the seat belt warning light will stay on until they fasten their seat belt. This is the best feature EVAH!!Floor Mat Anchors
Are you getting sick and tired of adjusting your car's floor mats? Who isn't, right? It can become quite frustrating and time consuming trying to keep your floor mat's in place. With the floor mat anchors, you'll never have to worry about your floor mats sliding all over your car. And, most importantly the floor mat anchors will help your mats stay in place so that your floors can stay clean. How cool, right? The Panoramic Sunroof
The sunroof is perfect for those hot sunny days! You can either slide or tilt your sunroof with the sunroof control lever (located on the overhead console). It's the perfect addition to any vehicle, especially if you're trying to cut-back on your A/C usage. I don't recommend using the sunroof unless you have some sunscreen on hand. The Smart Key
Tired of fiddling around your purse trying to find your car keys? What woman isn't, right? With the smart key, you'll be able to lock and unlock your door (and tailgate) without inserting an actual key. Also, you'll be able to start the engine as long has you have your smart key in the car.Other Wondrous Features
This wondrous vehicle features power windows with one-touch down
functionality, 12-volt power
outlets in the passenger and cargo compartments, tilt-adjustable
steering wheel, electronically adjustable side mirrors, and six-way adjustable front seats. Stylishly appointed
cloth seats come standard and provide comfortable seating while 60/40
split-folding rear seats effortlessly accommodate driver and passenger
cargo needs.
Final Thoughts
Overall, this vehicle is AMAZING!! And, I would be extremely happy waking up to this stunning signal red beauty in my driveway every morning. We test drove this wondrous vehicle for three weeks and it's really good on gas, which is always a plus for this frugal mama. As with any vehicle review, it's impossible to cover every feature, so please forgive me if there's something I forgot to mention. Out of all the vehicles I tested thus far, this one is by far my favorite and the Kia Optima comes in second. ReplyDeleteSo awesome! I'll have to test that one out soon. We were looking into a Sportage last year but the model had this weird up-slanting body so that my daughter (who is 12) wasn't tall enough to look out the back window. The 2013 model looks so much better. We should have waited for this one to come out!
