Whether you're preparing delectable meals for the whole family or entertaining a small group of friends, the Kenmore 30" Microhood Combination w/ True Cook Plus Microwave Oven makes cooking and reheating your favorite pabulum an absolute breeze! With the Kenmore Microhood Combination Microwave Oven you'll be able to effortlessly prepare afternoon snacks for the little ones, warm-up last night's leftovers, cook frozen dinners, defrost frozen meats, pop popcorn, melt butter, soften hard ice-cream and much, much more. Sounds like the perfect over-the-range microwave, right?
This ingenious over-the-range microwave features an extra-large 2.0 cubic foot interior which ensures you'll have plenty of room for all your comestibles, snacks and liquid refreshments. In addition to its extra-large interior, this wondrous over-the-range microwave oven comes with an multi-stage cooking function that'll effortlessly take your nutriments through defrosting, cooking and warm-hold stages, so basically, when one stage is complete the next stage will automatically start. Super cool, huh? This is by far my favorite feature of the Kenmore Microhood Combination Microwave Oven.
This wondrous Kenmore Microhood Combination w/ True Cook Plus Microwave offers everything you need for heating and reheating your favorite comestibles: Multi-Setting Cooking, Auto Select Cooking, TrueCookPlus and One-Touch Cooking. It's perfect for busy families!
This ingenious over-the-range microwave oven also features TrueCookPlus, which is a patented technology that does ALL the calculations for you—it factors in altitude—to ensure food cooks perfectly every time. This over-the-range microwave is truly AMAZING and I just know y'all will love it as much as I do!
The Kenmore 30" Microhood Combination w/ True Cook Plus Microwave Oven comes with a powerful yet quiet ventilation system (seen above) which helps remove smoke and other cooking odors from the air you breathe. How cool, right? Also, the glass turntable is completely removable for easy cleaning (I love how easy it is to clean, too!). All you'll need is a little vinegar and water, and you're all done! Easy peasy, right? The Kenmore over-the-range microwave also features a bright 12/24 digital clock, which is perfect for those who don't have a clock in their kitchen.
The only drawback with the Kenmore 30" Microhood Combination w/ True Cook Plus Microwave Oven is the exterior is super hard to clean. I can't restore the stainless steel back to its original shine, and I've tried everything. Any suggestions? Other than that, I love this microwave as it cooks all my food the way I want it.
Thank you Sears and Kenmore for donating this wondrous over-the-range microwave for my Home Makeover Event! |

That is a very sleek mircowave!
ReplyDeleteI use Dawn Dish Soap on my Stainless Steel Appliances to get them nice and shiny. Just put some on a cloth and wet it with water, rub it on the surface and then buff it off with a microfiber cloth. No streaks and it looks great.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the suggestion, Tammy!
DeleteHow cool that the metal rack works in this microwave!
ReplyDeleteI don't use the metal rack, someone told me that they shorten the life of the microwave. I don't if that's true or not though. But, it is a cool feature.
DeleteI have the rack, but took it out. It would come in handy when I re-het leftovers...
ReplyDeleteYeah, I took mine out too! I don't really have a use for it.
DeleteVery cool! I have to look into this for my new home
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your new home, Elaina! You won't be disappointed with this oven, it's pretty good and it doesn't leave cold spots in the food.
DeleteThis looks like a great microwave!
ReplyDeleteI wish that my kitchen was designed to fit a built-in over the stove. That would be so great!
ReplyDeleteThey're a great addition to have over the stove because they clear up counter space, however they get very dirty because they're over the stove.
DeleteI just bought a new microwave last week, but this one maybe be nicer. :)
ReplyDeleteWhich kind did you get?
DeleteI wish but we're in a rental that won't allow such upgrades. That looks like an amazing appliance though. Plus, it offers to many option having both the microwave and the oven features!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great microwave! I especially love the easy to read cook times and instructions.
ReplyDeleteI wish Kenmore would give me a new stove/oven. :)
ReplyDeleteWe need a new microwave. Ours is starting to glitch.
ReplyDeleteI really appreciate this review. My husband and I are currently debating what we want to replace in our kitchen and while I really do not want a microwave, he does. This would be a good choice for us as it's sort of a compromise.
ReplyDeleteKeep checking their site as the prices change quite frequently, can you believe this one was $299 a week ago? And, whatever price you see online will be the same in store. This microwave is available at Sears, in case you're interested.
ReplyDeleteI just bought a Samsung Microhood from Sears. Cannot wait until it is delivered!
ReplyDeleteI need a new microwave and would love to have one like that with a removable rack!
ReplyDeletewow that is quite a machine.
ReplyDeleteI live in an apartment, but I would love a double oven someday with an island with a built in stove.
ReplyDeleteWe have new appliances, but this one looks really cool! I use nothing but water to clean my stainless steel- it takes more elbow grease but I find that adding any chemical cleaners dulls it.
ReplyDeleteLooks like quite a machine!
ReplyDeleteI love this! Wish I would have put something like this in when we redid our kitchen.
ReplyDeleteThat is really nice! :)
ReplyDeleteI love that microwave!!!
ReplyDeleteImpressive. I don't think I have ever seen a microwave with a top rack before.
ReplyDeleteI would love to redo my kitchen. It needs an overhaul.
ReplyDeleteTHis looks like an awesome product!
ReplyDeleteVery nice microwave.
ReplyDeleteWe've been microwave free for 5 years.. I think because we had such bad luck with them! I may need to get this one!!
ReplyDeleteThat's crazy that it has a top rack. I remember when we first got a microwave and I put foil in it. Woo, that was not a fun lesson to learn.
