2013 Ford Flex-Limited AWD Review

Aerodynamic and stunningly attractive, the 2013 Ford Flex-Limited AWD is the perfect choice for families who seek capaciousness, comfort and dependably. With its ritzy wagon—like exterior, the 2013 Ford Flex Limited will enrapture those who enjoy premium-comfort and unique styling. Aside from its impressive (wagon—like) styling, the 2013 Ford Flex is excellent on gas, which is a HUGE plus, especially if you're into traveling with your family OR saving a buck (or two) at the pump. Your family will surely appreciate the generous head (and leg) room that the Flex-Limited Offers, it's amazingly spacious and surprisingly gemütlich. In addition to its superb spaciousness, this gorgeous AWD comes will all the latest (and greatest) technology, which is another HUGE plus if you're into today's technology.

The exterior of this attractive AWD definitely deserves a second look (some may be turned off by its wagon-like styling). But, one thing's for sure, you won't see another vehicle on the road quite like the Ford Flex (it most definitely stands out from the rest). Um, don't you think? We sure do, I mean how many vehicles have you seen on the road that looks like the Flex? The unique styling alone will capture the attention of others. In addition, the 2013 Flex-Limited AWD sports dynamic and enthralling design elements, both inside and out.

The 2013 Ford Flex is available in the following eye-popping colors: Tuxedo Black, Mineral Gray, Ingot Silver, White Suede, White Platinum, Ginger Ale, Kodiak Brown, Ruby Red, and Deep Impact Blue (pictured).

Can't find that darn garage door opener?

Annoying, right? There's nothing worst than losing the garage door opener! We've all been there, and we all know how annoying it can be trying to hunt down the garage opener? It can be very frustrating, especially if it's raining out or you have a car full of groceries! Besides, it's already hard enough trying to keep up with those darn keys, right?

Can you believe that the Flex-Limited comes with a universal garage door opener? That's super cool right? The Flex's universal garage door opener replaces the common hand-held garage door opener with a three-button transmitter (seen above) and it's conveniently located above the driver's sun visor. How awesome is that? Pretty darn awesome, if you ask me! Now, it's time to retire that old clunky garage door opener. Good riddance!

The Steering Wheel

There's SO much for families to love about the 2013 Ford Flex-Limited AWD, it's one amazing vehicle and it literally feels like pure-butter on the road. The Ford Flex-Limited has everything your family could ever want in a vehicle — and much, much more! On the road, the Flex drives extremely easy for a vehicle of its size and it's fairly easy to navigate. When I first hopped in the driver's seat, I couldn't get over how fascinating the steering wheel was, it's very ergonomic and super-friendly on the wrist. My grip really felt at home when handling the Flex's steering wheel, yes it's that AMAZING!

Spacious. Spacious. Spacious.

The Flex-Limited in known for its capaciousness and third row seating, which is why we choose to test-drive this particular vehicle. The third row seating can be folded-back to facilitate luggage, sporting equipment, groceries or other large items. Also, the third row seating features a power one-touch operation that'll allow you to adjust the seating into a normal, stow, or tailgate position with just a simple touch of a button (seen above).

Let's back up now....

The Flex takes backing out of the driveway (or parking lot) to the next level, that's for sure! With the rear-sensing system, the Flex-Limited will conveniently chime when the vehicle comes into close proximately of another automobile OR object. It's quite amazing! When an object is fewer than twelve inches away, the warning sound will chime continuously. Also, if there's an object detected near the side of the vehicle, the warning sound will chime for three seconds. Once the systems detects an object approaching, the warning sound will chime, again! <-- How cool is that?

GPS Navigation

One thing's for sure, you'll never have to worry about getting lost while driving the Flex-Limited. It comes fully-equipped with a state-of-the-art GPS, voice recognition system and it's phenomenal. It's the perfect road side-kick, especially if you're journeying through uncharted territory,  and we all know how frightening that can be, right?

 Final Thoughts

The 2013 Ford Flex-Limited AWD is very comfortable and extremely spacious! Besides that, it's a ton of fun to drive and my family absolutely adores it, especially the hubs. I wish we could have kept this wondrous vehicle a week longer, it would have given me more time to learn more about the features. There's so many features and I'm so sorry that I couldn't cover them all, so please forgive me. So, if you're looking for a vehicle that's spacious, gas-friendly and safe, then look no further than the 2013 Ford Flex-Limited AWD. It has reliable performance as well as a reasonable price, which is a plus given the size.
