Can't find that darn garage door opener?
Annoying, right? There's nothing worst than losing the garage door opener! We've all been there, and we all know how annoying it can be trying to hunt down the garage opener? It can be very frustrating, especially if it's raining out or you have a car full of groceries! Besides, it's already hard enough trying to keep up with those darn keys, right?
Can you believe that the Flex-Limited comes with a universal garage door opener? That's super cool right? The Flex's universal garage door opener replaces the common hand-held garage door opener with a three-button transmitter (seen above) and it's conveniently located above the driver's sun visor. How awesome is that? Pretty darn awesome, if you ask me! Now, it's time to retire that old clunky garage door opener. Good riddance!

The Steering Wheel
There's SO much for families to love about the 2013 Ford Flex-Limited AWD, it's one amazing vehicle and it literally feels like pure-butter on the road. The Ford Flex-Limited has everything your family could ever want in a vehicle — and much, much more! On the road, the Flex drives extremely easy for a vehicle of its size and it's fairly easy to navigate. When I first hopped in the driver's seat, I couldn't get over how fascinating the steering wheel was, it's very ergonomic and super-friendly on the wrist. My grip really felt at home when handling the Flex's steering wheel, yes it's that AMAZING!Spacious. Spacious. Spacious.
The Flex-Limited in known for its capaciousness and third row seating, which is why we choose to test-drive this particular vehicle. The third row seating can be folded-back to facilitate luggage, sporting equipment, groceries or other large items. Also, the third row seating features a power one-touch operation that'll allow you to adjust the seating into a normal, stow, or tailgate position with just a simple touch of a button (seen above).
Let's back up now....
The Flex takes backing out of the driveway (or parking lot) to the next level, that's for sure! With the rear-sensing system, the Flex-Limited will conveniently chime when the vehicle comes into close proximately of another automobile OR object. It's quite amazing! When an object is fewer than twelve inches away, the warning sound will chime continuously. Also, if there's an object detected near the side of the vehicle, the warning sound will chime for three seconds. Once the systems detects an object approaching, the warning sound will chime, again! <-- How cool is that?
GPS Navigation
One thing's for sure, you'll never have to worry about getting lost while driving the Flex-Limited. It comes fully-equipped with a state-of-the-art GPS, voice recognition system and it's phenomenal. It's the perfect road side-kick, especially if you're journeying through uncharted territory, and we all know how frightening that can be, right?Final Thoughts
The 2013 Ford Flex-Limited AWD is very comfortable and extremely spacious! Besides that, it's a ton of fun to drive and my family absolutely adores it, especially the hubs. I wish we could have kept this wondrous vehicle a week longer, it would have given me more time to learn more about the features. There's so many features and I'm so sorry that I couldn't cover them all, so please forgive me. So, if you're looking for a vehicle that's spacious, gas-friendly and safe, then look no further than the 2013 Ford Flex-Limited AWD. It has reliable performance as well as a reasonable price, which is a plus given the size.

Sweet, I love Ford! I have never driven any of their newer vehicle though. How long did you get to keep it?
ReplyDeleteI was only able to keep it for one week, I surely wish it was a little longer though as this vehicle has so many features.
DeleteI couldn't live without a keyless start now that I have my car - but I really need an SUV. Love the space in this!!
ReplyDeleteI love the keyless entry feature, it's a nice bonus especially if you don't like carrying keys around.
DeleteI love the look on the outside, sweet!
ReplyDeleteYes, it's very sweet indeed!
DeleteThat Universal Garage Door Opener is sweet! We have an older model where the openers are HUGE and this would be so much more convenient then trying to stash that puppy in the glove box!
ReplyDeleteThat's one of the features that really stood out for me. Sadly, I don't even know where our garage door opener is lol.
DeleteI really like the keyless start and how spacious this vehicle is. It's fun to see where cars have made improvements over the years.
ReplyDeleteWe have an older car and the features are so different, we're really hoping to get one of these one day!
DeleteDoesn't look like a bad car
ReplyDeleteWow this thing has a ton of space
ReplyDeleteIt's very enormous, and it's very suitable for a family of five or more!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the peek inside. I've seen them on the road and always wondered what they were like. Sounds like a super vehicle to me!
ReplyDeleteHubs is a Ford man. Love the unique look of the Ford Flex!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen one of these cars before. I've always loved a wagon and am glad to see them making a comeback!
ReplyDeleteI have been wondering what these cars look like on the inside and wow it's better then I thought it would be.
ReplyDeleteI used to hate Fords and then I got one. Now, I see why my oldest brother loves them (and he has worked at Toyota for YEARS). The Flex would be a nice vehicle to go on a little road trip. :)
ReplyDeleteThis would be the perfect vehicle for my son and his 5 children. He needs a lot of space and we love Ford vehicles. He currently has their Expedition but will soon need to replace for a newer model
ReplyDeleteI love my old Ford Explorer. This could be a contender as the eventual replacement, but that might be awhile... Ford trucks last & last.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit that I am not a fan of the outside because of the wagon style but the inside is great and all the features. Everything that this vehicle has to offer may be enough for me to overlook the outside appearance
ReplyDeleteIt looks nice and spacious. I could move in there. ;)
ReplyDeleteWow, it looks fabulous, and the color is awesome. Great features too.
ReplyDeleteThis sure looks like a really nice ride!
ReplyDeleteWe are Ford people, I love them. I've had my eye on that car for a while now but with only one kid I couldn't justify it. It sure is an amazing car though.
ReplyDeletewowowow the garage door opener is so cool!! I would just go try that!!
ReplyDeleteI really like the look of the Ford Flex. When we were looking at new cars earlier this year, we considered it - but decided to go with a minivan... but this is one that I will keep on my radar for future purchases.
ReplyDeleteWoah...universal garage door opener? That's a great feature!
ReplyDeleteNow that is a good looking car!
ReplyDeleteWe are in the market for a new car but that might be a bit out of our price range. I love it, though, the whole family would fit!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous. I have a Ford Explorer. I bought it new and I still drive it! I cannot give it up (its 10 years old and still perfect)
ReplyDeletetrisha
That looks like the world's coolest station wagon. I would love to have something this spacious and roomy. I love our mini-van, but I wouldn't mind a bit of trunk space.
ReplyDeleteIt sure is a fun looking vehicle...almost retro! Those back up cameras are amazing!
ReplyDeleteThe universal garage door opener is really cool. But could you open other doors with it by accident?
ReplyDeleteI love that color.
Oh, my goodness -- I am in LOVE with all the space/storage!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a fully grown mini-cooper!
ReplyDeleteI love that garage door opener and GPS!
ReplyDeleteLove the Color and there's so much space gps navigation is such a must these days I get lost all the time
ReplyDeleteI love the third row seating!!
ReplyDeleteI have been oogling the Flex since I first saw it a few years ago. I feel it looks like a sexier version of a minivan and would be perfect for our family of five!
ReplyDeleteNice review. I love the built in garage door opener. Mine is always falling off my visor.
ReplyDeleteMy grandfather was an engineer for Ford, so that's all we drive. The Flex looks really great for families.
ReplyDeleteMy BIL has a Ford Flex and I love how spacious the interior is!
ReplyDeleteI drove a Ford Flex during an event one time and FELL IN LOVE with it. It's such a nice car.
ReplyDeleteI was never a fan of these from the beginning because they look way too much like our car (Scion xB)!
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I were just talking about these vehicles! I think the size would be intimidating however with the rear backing up sensor would be an amazing feature to use to get used to the size!
ReplyDeleteI love the look of that car!
ReplyDeleteThat's a cute car! I love that it's spacious, that's so important to me!
ReplyDeleteI adore keyless start. I use it when it's cold outside and I can heat the car up without even going outside.
ReplyDeleteI have never driven a ford. Looks like it was an amazing ride. So many great features.
ReplyDeleteWe only buy Fords. I'm not familiar with the Flex, though. I'd definitely consider it when we're in the market for a new vehicle.
ReplyDeleteI was so sad our car didn't have keyless start when we bought it. Maybe the next car we get will be a ford?!
ReplyDeleteI've never really been fond of FORD until this year They really have been thinking about the customer and our needs
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice ride! Love it.
