Ready to get started on your kitchen renovation or flooring project? Modernizing your outmoded kitchen flooring can be a fun and fulfilling experience, right? And, who doesn't want their kitchen to be more functional and modern? Whether you're currently remodeling your kitchen OR you're thinking about remodeling your kitchen — finding the perfect flooring to properly accentuate your kitchen can provide a real sense of triumph (and pride). Most importantly, installing NEW kitchen flooring can work wonders at giving your old kitchen a much-needed NEW look, and who doesn't want their kitchen to look breathtakingly beautiful? If your kitchen flooring is starting to look worn or antiquated, installing NEW flooring can literally give your kitchen a fresh lease of life. Isn't that what we all want? And, installing NEW flooring can be a excellent option to consider, especially if you want and NEED a whole new look for your ugly, outmoded kitchen. So, what are you waiting for dahlings? Let's get started on that outmoded kitchen!

Carpet One

If you've been looking for the perfect flooring for your kitchen project, look no further than vinyl. Why? Vinyl is an excellent way to spruce-up your kitchen space, and it allows you to incorporate the LOOK and feel of tile, hardwood and stone. Have you ever considered installing vinyl flooring in your kitchen OR dinning area? If not, you're seriously missing out on some excellent flooring! Previously, we had linoleum flooring installed in our kitchen AND unfortunately it didn't last very long, which SUCKED! I was so embarrassed of my UGLY kitchen, and I literally hated everything about it (especially that UGLY, dilapidated linoleum flooring!). After a few years of dealing with the pure-ugliness of my OLD kitchen, I came to the conclusion that I needed to modernize and FIX-UP my kitchen, and I needed to do it NOW!! I was getting tired of being embarrassed and ashamed of my ugly kitchen.

Earthscapes vinyl flooring is amazingly durable and it's perfect for families who have messy kids in the home, like mine! Earthscapes is BY far the best flooring we've ever had and they literally have the best options, especially if you're looking for longevity. Their flooring offers exceptional acoustical advantages (it's extremely quiet underfoot) and it's extremely resistant to contraction, expansion, curling, and cracking that you'll normally get from older vinyl flooring. Sounds like some good flooring, right? Um, we definitely think so! And, Carpet One totally rocks!

AND.

As most of you probably already know, having an up-to-date, modern kitchen, will not only allow you to function better, but it'll make you feel better about your home. If you love the look of the Belcrest Flooring, it's definitely worth purchasing. Belcrest Flooring will withstand many problems in the home, like traffic and stains. Like us, you can have the wonderful installers over at Carpet One install your NEW kitchen flooring, which will save you time (and painful headaches). And, it only takes a few hours and they're done!

Selection and Installation

Like tiles? Stones? Woods? It’s all there, even the texture – and so realistic that you will want to reach out and touch it. But the hassle of installation is not there because Earthscapes is extra wide (13’2”) for virtually seamless installation. It installs quicker and cleaner than regular wood and stone products for minimum disruption of your busy schedule. In many instances it can even be installed over old vinyl, eliminating the tedious and costly process of removing the old flooring. And in most cases, sub floor reparation is easier than with other flooring products.

What is Earthscapes?

Earthscapes is an amazing cushioned vinyl floor covering that is relatively new to the North American market. It has been used for years in Europe and provides richly textured realistic patterns combined with excellent performance. Technologically advanced Earthscapes features a layer of fiberglass fully encapsulated with PVC vinyl for complete dimensional stability, a comfort foam cushion, beautiful printed patterns and textures, and a urethane wear layer that is highly resistant to stains and traffic.

Final Thoughts:

When modernizing your kitchen (or dinning area), it's always best to start out with your flooring. Trying to update your entire kitchen at once can be very confusing and overwhelming, and can frequently lead to your kitchen being left uncompleted. Who wants that, right? Plus, modernizing your outmoded, hideous kitchen flooring is literally one of the best investments you can make, so why wait? Carpet One has a wide-variety of flooring options available for every kitchen decor theme, taste and most importantly budget. Earthscapes vinyl can be used to match your kitchen cabinets and your furnishing. And, having vinyl flooring installed in your home will be a terrific change, one that your family will enjoy for YEARS to come. WE love it, so we know you will too! So, if you're considering adding Earthscapes vinyl flooring to your kitchen remodeling list, please know that it's a wonderful choice, especially if you don't have a BIG budget.

  2. I'll be honest, I didn't know there was a difference between linoleum and vinyl I always thought they were the same thing just that "linoleum" was a brand name. We have tile in our kitchen and breakfast area, but in the house we just bought we also have carpet in the dining room which I don't care for.

    1. Although they have some similarities, they're both made entirely different. Vinyl is more softer underfoot and is made up of PVC (polyvinylchloride) and linoleum is made up of linseed oil and flax seeds. Vinyl is more softer and is less likely to curl-up, and linoleum cost a little more, I believe. Plus, with linoleum you don't have as many designs and colors to choose from. I've had linoleum before and I've always had problems with it, could've been that it was cheap lol. But, I just wanted something more aesthetic, so we went with the vinyl. This is my first time having it, so hopefully it holds up.
