Many adventure seekers are looking for super fun and exciting outdoor activities to engage in. Can you think of a more unique way to fully experience the outdoors than by trying a zip line obstacle course? Sounds fun, right? And, would you BELIEVE you can do this closer to home than you imagined?
If you've ever zip-lined, you know by now the adrenaline rush that it brings, right? If you've never done it, and are interested, a group course may be a good instruction to the activity. Either way, if you're a huge LOVER of nature and the great outdoors, a thrill seeker, and looking
for a fun challenge, you can feed your thrill seeking appetite by doing
an obstacle course.
An obstacle course is usually self-guided, and good for zip line enthusiasts who want some variety in the activity. First timers are also fully trained and briefed on safety, and left free to navigate through the open space. By Zip lining, you are seeing the wonder of Mother Nature in a whole new way; from the perspective of a bird.
Why Georgia? Treetop Quest in Buford, Georgia offers a whole nature park devoted to adrenaline junkies. A Zip line in Georgia can be accessible in just a short drive rather than a plane ride away. The open space in the Georgian outdoors is some of the best in the country for zip lining, and whether you live in Georgia or nearby, there are a variety of options; however it is important to keep in mind safety and reputation in choosing a guided course.
Check out the Tree top adventure obstacle, where you can find a variety of obstacle courses for adults, children, groups and events. It’s worth a look if you’re planning a trip to the Atlanta area!
Have you ever been zip-lining?
Have you ever been zip-lining?
I went in Florida once and it was so much fun, a lot more fun than I even thought!
ReplyDeleteThis looks super fun to me, but I'm not sure how I'd fee when I'm actually up in the tree tops! Then I think it might be a bit scary :)
ReplyDeleteI've never been ziplining but I absolutely would. There's an area here in Las Vegas where you can zipline along old downtown. I've been wanting to try that at night!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been ziplining yet, but I have tickets to go ziplining at this ranch in French Lick, Indiana. Much as I'm petrified of heights, I tried to convince my husband to go ziplining with me last month, but there was no way of convincing him. ~lol~
ReplyDeleteMy son and husband went zip-lining this summer, but I've yet to do it. They made me promise that I'd go with them next time. :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to do this with my family one day!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds pretty cool. When we went on a Mexican cruise my mom and brother did a zipline through the rainforest and they said it was amazing.
ReplyDeleteI have not but we have a small one in our community park I want to try.
ReplyDeleteI really want to!!!
ReplyDeleteI just watched people do something similar to this in Callaway Gardens this summer. I don't know if I could get the courage up though!
ReplyDeleteI have never been on a zip line but my kids have several friends who have them on their properties. My youngest just went to an awesome birthday party with a zip line through the "forest." He loved it and I practically had to drag him off the zip line to get him home.
ReplyDeleteI have never been on a zip line, but all my kids have! Many of their friends have zip lines on their properties. I usually have to drag them off the line, kicking and screaming (joke) because they love them so much!
ReplyDeleteNo, I have not, but I would love to. I will have to check that out in Georgia.
ReplyDeleteI love ziplining! If I am ever in the area, I will check this place out.
ReplyDeleteThis is on the grounds of Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center (GEHC) - the whole place is pretty neat. My husband reviewed the zipline course on his blog GoneSomewhere.com right when they opened - he loved it.
ReplyDeleteThere are also tons of trails on the grounds (I walk and run with friends there). I highly recommend looking into it if you are in the Gwinnett area. If you do, also check out the site for GEHC to see if there is anything else you want to do while there.
That looks like so much fun! I have gone ziplining before in Florida and it was a blast!
ReplyDeleteI have a few times and it is so amazing. I had no idea it was offered in Georgia though.
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to go ziplining, despite being afraid of heights!
ReplyDeleteI always wanted to try this, it looks scary and exciting!
ReplyDeleteZipliningis such a thrilling yet exciting experience. Even for myself, who isn't a big fan of heights had such a great time when we went! I highly suggest trying it if you haven't yet!
ReplyDeleteYes-- and I love it!!
ReplyDeleteI love ziplines but never tried an obstacle course.
ReplyDeleteUm, yeah ... it always looks SO fun but I have a SEVERE fear of heights. Just isn't for me.
ReplyDeleteyou'd never think I'd never zip line but I DID> and what a rush it's amazing flyin through the air I'd do it again and again and again. OH did I say again. Yes I do it again :P I would love to give this a try too. I bet it was awesome
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun, but I don't think I could do it.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like so much fun! I haven't been ziplining since 5th grade.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great team building event! Everyone just screams a lot!!
ReplyDeleteI've gone zip lining a few times and I think it's something that everyone should experience. It's so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI've heard this is a blast. I've done them before (as in waaayyy before kids, etc). I wonder if I'd be able to do it now:)
ReplyDeleteI have never had an interest in zip-lining but, my older kids have wanted to go.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like so much fun! It reminds me of something I did in Girl Scout camp back in the day.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds intense! I'm not sure if I could zipline but I know the kids would love it.
ReplyDeleteMy teens love to zipline. I am afraid of heights, but it sounds like a blast for more adventurous people.
ReplyDeleteI went ziplining a few years ago and it is SO fun!
ReplyDeleteHaven't tried it, but would like to. I'd have to see if there are any here in Colorado.

My only complaint with zip lining is that it doesn't last long. I could go about 5 times in a row.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like so much fun, I'd definitely love to give it a try. We used to have one close by, and the kids love it...and still talk about it.
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun but I don't think I could do that.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't see myself doing it regularly, but it does sound like a lot of fun
ReplyDeleteSeems like fun but I have such a fear of heights!
ReplyDeleteI've been ziplining in Florida. It was so fun.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE ziplining, it's so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI have not tried Zip-lining yet but it is definitely on my list of things to do before I die. It looks really fun and scary at the same time. I cannot wait to try this out on my own!
