Safeway Home Delivery Service

Safeway's Home Grocery Delivery is a convenient and more affordable way to shop for groceries in the comfort of your own home. Given that most people are too busy with work or caring for small children they barely have the time to go to an actual store for their shopping needs. With this in mind we often times don't plan out our visits and can easily forget about that one item that could have completed a dinner. Now you can stock up on everyday essentials without even having to leave your home. If you are without a vehicle and don't want to lug your groceries onto the bus with you Safeway's delivery is definitely the best option for you.

With Safeway Home Delivery, you will also get the same club card benefits as if you went to the actual store. Also they have a wide variety of discount offers in which you can also take advantage of with just a click of a mouse. The benefits of using the online service is your completed first order is saved for future shopping which can be a huge time-saver for those with out a lot of time on their hands.

Placing an order is extremely easy and I will share my experience on how it actually works. First I visited http://www.safeway.com/IFL/Grocery/Home then in the upper right corner you will see Grocery Delivery, you will click on this to be taken to the Home Delivery page.  Once this is done you simply just click on Shop Now and type in your Zip Code and hit go. This will bring up a list of products, for your convenience, you can shop by the aisle or type in the product in which you are shopping for.  My preference is to type in the product as I find this to be faster plus you will see a list of everything they have including sale items.

After finding the product you like simply add it to your shopping cart, if you decide to change your mind later down the line you can remove any items you don't want. The best thing about ordering on the Safeway site is you can see an estimated total of the cost of your order. But remember this can be slightly different once you order has been placed as this would depend on product size and availability.

If you are satisfied with your order you will need to checkout, please note that you will need an Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover and Debit Cards with the Visa or Master Card logo in order to complete your order. Then you can select a time frame either during or after placing your order to assure you get a time slot of your preference. Also keep in mind that you must have a minimum order of $50 in order to use this service.

Now all you have to do is sit back and wait for your doorbell to ring. The guy that brought me my order was extremely helpful and placed all of my bags in my living room. He actually came on time which is a big plus as I was not wanting to wait around as I had other things to do. After giving me my order he also provided me with a my order on a sheet of paper to remind me of everything that I had purchased.

So far, I have enjoyed my experience with Safeway's Home Delivery and I highly recommend that you check it out for yourself.
