There's Nothing Cool About Being A Bully #StreamTeam

I am member of the Netflix Stream Team. No monetary compensation took place and ALL thoughts and opinions associated with this post are 100% my own.

As parents — we're always looking for ways to protect our children from bullies. The problem is, we can't be everywhere at once. Sucks, right? We all want our children to realize that they can talk to us about EVERY aspect of their lives, right? Sometimes they're not willing to discuss what's bothering them (and that's okay), we just need to let them know that we're there for them when they're ready to open up. Need help sparking the conversation? Check out this wonderful list of movies and TV shows that you can stream right now on Netflix.

Parents of teens and tweens can leverage Netflix titles that address bullying head-on, while those with younger children can demonstrate the importance of standing up for others using superheroes to show there is a hero in every one of us.

  8. My daughter's school just had a no bullying day. Not sure it went the way they wanted it too. They combined it with the Halloween parade. I think it got lost.

  10. My son has a bully in his class that picks on him. Believe it or not, his school won't do anything about it. REally makes me angry to think with all we know about bullying, that some states are still so back ward.

  16. What a great post! Bullying has seriously gotten out of hand. It seems way worse than when I was little. But the hero inside all of us is something we can be teaching our kids everyday!

  17. What a great way to share with kids that they have options if being bullied. I know I would have been more prone to open up, if I had been bullied, after watching a movie sharing someone else s struggle with this.
